BioPools

BioPools

Biopools are artificially constructed natural lagoons that provide clean, healthy and lively water in which you can enjoy a delightful swim.

Separating the regeneration zone, with of plants and other living organisms, from the bathing zone, where the individual enjoys a space like a normal pool, with an infinity edge overlooking a natural lagoon.

This balanced ecosystem avoids the use of harmful chemicals such as chlorine for its maintenance.

In conventional pools, all types of pathogens and life are killed by the use of chlorine, generating an inert water that is harmful to our skin and organism, acting similarly to what it does to the life in the pool water.

A natural pool, on the other hand, is a balanced ecosystem, which guarantees a healthy water full of life through a biological filtration process.

This filtration process, known as phytoremediation, transforms the pollutants contained in the water into nutrients for the plants. This process is analogous to biofilters for wastewater treatment.

Biopools designs can vary, depending on the design of the bathing areas, regeneration area, water circulation, materials used, available space, topography, number of users, among other factors.

You can opt for compact designs with vertical flow subsurface biofilters for small spaces.

Natural pools encourage biodiversity by providing habitats for plants and animals.

Contributing to the conservation of local wildlife.
